Kandyan dance is a traditional dance form of Sri Lanka π±π°. This dance is also known as Uda Rta Natum ❤️. It originated in the central hills of the country ❤️. The most prestigious form is the 'Ves' dance, performed in an elaborate , sacred costume featuring a tiara - like headgear and white cloth π. It is traditionally accompanied only by percussion , primary the Geta Beraya drum and cymbals ( Thalampota) . The dance includes fast and energetic movements π₯°.
